House Clearance FAQs

What are your charges for clearance?

We offer a free consultation for one of our auctioneers to come and value the contents and to provide an estimate of the costs of clearance.

We are licensed waste carriers and tip charges are dependent on the weight of waste please contact us for further details.

Often any clothing is taken to charity.

How do I make arrangements to clear a property?

The first step is to arrange for one of our auctioneers to call to inspect the contents free of charge and to give you an estimate of the value of contents and the cost of clearance. During the visit the auctioneer will identify all saleable items which can be entered into a suitable auction to maximise their realisation value. Any unsalable items including household rubbish can be disposed to tip on your behalf subject to removal charges and a tipping fee. All costs are subsequently deducted from the proceeds of sale at auction.
